How to Use Chiavaye As A Personal Moisturizer & For Intimacy

Chiavaye can be used for multiple reasons:

  • As a personal moisturizer for women dealing with vaginal dryness, symptoms relating to endometriosis and menopause such as discomfort, burning, thinning vaginal walls, and irritation.
  • As a lubricant for sex
  • As a personal moisturizer for new moms experiencing dryness/discomfort during breast feeding. Also makes a great, non-toxic nipple moisturizer!
  • For those wishing to regain normalcy and intimacy after chemotherapy treatments. Chiavaye has been recommended by Dr. Barb DePree, MD for this very purpose.

This guide will share exactly how to use and apply Chiavaye:

1. How To Use Chiavaye As A Personal Moisturizer

Here’s how we think about Chiavaye:

We think about Chiavaye just like a facial moisturizer.

It sounds weird - but Chiavaye’s job is to nourish and revitalize your vaginal skin & tissue.

And, a facial moisturizer’s job is to nourish & revitalize the skin on your face.

So, here are some tips on HOW to use Chiavaye as a personal moisturizer:

Think of Chiavaye as you would a facial moisturizer

How do you put on a facial moisturizer?

You probably take 1-3 pumps in your hands and then rub it in on your face.

If your face isn't that dry, then you probably don't use as much.

If your face is REALLY dry, then you'll probably use more.

You do the exact same with Chiavaye.

Take 1-4 pumps (depending on how much you feel you need for symptoms of dryness, burning, discomfort, etc) on your hands and then rub it into your external and/or internal vaginal tissue.

You do not need to use an applicator with Chiavaye.

Here are some tips on WHEN to use Chiavaye as a personal moisturizer:

Use however much you FEEL Like You Need

Let’s use the analogy of a facial moisturizer again:

If your face is really dry, then you’re probably going to apply a moisturizer multiple times per day - in the morning when you wake up, after a shower, before bed…

It’s the same with using Chiavaye as a vaginal moisturizer.

If you have vaginal dryness, endometriosis, or are going through menopause, you may feel like you need MORE. And that’s fine.

Instead of 1 or 2 pumps of Chiavaye once per day, you may want to use 3-4 pumps of Chiavaye multiple times per day.

Use it in the morning and at night

I personally use Chiavaye in the morning when I wake up and at night before bed.

I make this a routine so that I’m moisturizing, nourishing, and revitalizing my vaginal tissue daily.

Use it after bathing

Use it right when you get out of the shower or bath as your skin is primed to soak in nutrients.

Use it when you know you’re about to have sex

If you know you’re going to have sex, then it’s a good idea to “prime” yourself by applying Chiavaye.

Use it when you’re changing clothes

I personally use Chiavaye when I’m changing my clothes. If I’m already getting undressed, then it’s easy to take a pump or two of Chiavaye and apply it.

Use it post-sex

There are times when the friction during sex can make you feel like you’ve been “rubbed raw.”

Applying Chiavaye after sex is a great way to nourish the vaginal skin, both internal and external.

Also, many women are susceptible to getting UTIs. While we cannot make medical claims, Chiavaye is made with organic coconut oil. And coconut oil is both an anti-bacterial and an anti-microbial.

2. How To Use Chiavaye During Intimacy

Using Chiavaye during intimacy is quite easy.

Apply it to yourself externally and/or internally

Take 1-4 pumps (depending on how much you feel like you need) and apply it to your vaginal skin internally and/or externally.

Since Chiavaye is long-lasting, this should be enough to last for the duration of intimacy.

Apply it to your partner

You can also take 1-4 pumps of Chiavaye (depending on how much you feel like you need) and apply it to your partner.

Apply it to yourself and your partner

By applying it to yourself and your partner, you’re minimizing the amount of discomfort and negative friction.
